Ok couldn't resist

Too many wonderful artists out there to share about! I couldn't resist but do another one today. This one is a wonderfully gifted lady who lives in my area. Just met her on Etsy! I am so excited to meet an artist in my area on Etsy I could wring my hands like a kid.

Her name is Tia and she is "RavenWolfArt". This woman is gifted...did I say gifted...yep...and I meant it! Go look at her work and you will see what I mean. I am having problems picking a favorite because they are all so good. I chose this one because it is a baby and I love babies.
(I added the cat because of the first comment I got. I do not see what the poster saw but we all see things differently! )

Tia thank you for your wonderful contribution to Etsy!

Favorite blog of the day

I found a blog I really enjoyed. Now see this is what I am talking about. Some people are so good at blogging. Check it out...this one is spiritual (Christian) in nature so if you don't like things like that you may not want to look. In my opinion this lady is a really good writer. Just click on the title of this blog entry to go there.

Showing off Etsy Artists

I am going to start featuring someone on my blog from Etsy at least once a week maybe more. Here is my first star! And she is truly a star. (I will also be sharing others websites I find that I really like. You could find almost anything here so keep coming back!)

"Shazzabeth's Creations"

You have got to see this woman's work. Her name is Sharon and she does fabulous work in wire. Beaded, Wirework and Chainmaille Jewellery are her main focus. I love this stuff. She is so talented I had to show her off on my blog.
I am also adding a picture or two of her work. Go check her out already!

Good Morning

Good Morning! Another beautiful day here in Trinidad Texas with the sun just coming up and shining bright and beautiful. How can one not feel blessed?
Going to spend the morning setting up listings to upload into my ebay store and putting some stuff on etsy. I have a lot of really nice clothing that I am about to start putting in my stores. Some great vintage stuff that will go in my Etsy store and some newer items and new items for the Ebay store.
I am challenging myself to get more organized so a lot of stuff has got to go. It is hard to keep up with stuff when you have so many things laying here and there. Especially difficult if it is things you really don't need for yourself or you just bought to resell.
Anybody have any organization ideas I could use them. haha
Have too many different types of things from glass, to beads, charms, clothing, books, paper items ...you name it I probably have some of it.
Well off to play I go!

Can't believe people sometimes!

Why do people want to put virus' on other people's computers? I just had to delete a post and repost it to get a comment off that had a virus in it. So I had to make all comments moderated. Sorry about that.
What a day! Now to get ready to have a yard sale! Happy days are here again. :)

Spring and yard sales!

I just can't pass up a yard sale or so it seems. I got some really nice clothing at a yard sale this weekend and many of those are going to be listed on Ebay this week. Spring cleaning time!
I also got some findings and beads to add to my Etsy store so keep watching for new items daily. Many of my paper items are already starting to get listed. I am truly amazed sometimes at how time consuming this can be.
In the meantime there are signs of spring everywhere! Trees budding out with beautiful leaves and flowers everywhere! And my two pairs of my cockateils are setting on some eggs. One has two eggs and the other has 3 eggs. Oh I hope they all hatch and grow up big and strong. It is exciting to watch them grow and to feed them by hand. I will be putting up some pictures of some of my teils later this week when I have time.
We also have a cow that is expecting but it will be Fall before she calves. And our Chihuahua is also expecting a baby or two. So our little family is growing but all of them are not staying. I would say 6 dogs, 2 cats, 9 cockateils, 2 cows, and 22 chickens is pretty much close to enough! Ok maybe not enough but close! haha

Here are some of the eggs our chickens lay. Guess what kind of chickens we have. :)
Looks like no one is going to guess. So here is a picture of them. The ones that lay the dark eggs are the black and white ones like the rooster. They are called Cuckoo Marans.
The hen here on the left is different from the others but she is also a Maran. I named her Lacy because she stands out from the rest and i think she is so pretty. She has feathers on her feet too. These birds come from France originally and we think she may be a throwback to how they looked before they tampered with them here. I haven't really researched that though. Do you know?
